Giraffes
I think that giraffes are one of the most fascinating animals on this planet. Why you think that you ask? Well its because they have special facts about them..... Do you know how tall is a giraffe? If you don't know they are about 4.3 meters (14 ft) to 5.2 meters (17 ft). The tallest giraffe is this male giraffe that is 6 meters (20 ft). I think that is very tall compared to humans because 20 ft is taller than one of those highways that are like bridges so you can get to the other side. Giraffes are in many parts of Africa but mostly in Chad, Central Africa, and South Africa. Giraffes usually inhabit savannas, grasslands, or open woodlands.

I can relate something that happened to my vacation, the time with giraffes. I was in the safari in six flags and a giraffe liked the car. Its tongue is so long! and a bit gross. Your post is great too! keep up the good work!

ReplyDeleteI learned a lot about giraffes. I didn't know that giraffes can grow up to six meters. They are very interesting animals. Have you ever seen a giraffe in real life? They are amazing. Did you know that giraffes have the same number of neck veribrae as a human? I found it hard to believe because they are so tall but its true.

ReplyDeleteThis blog post was interesting, I didn't know that giraffes only needed 4.6 hours of sleep a day!I will never be able to do that, I would need at least 9 hours of sleep to wake up, even then I still wouldn't want to get up though. Another cool fact I learned is that giraffes can grow up to 20 feet tall if their a male. Have you ever seen a giraffe before? If you did, did it fell like you were really small or if you were standing next to a giant? Great post!
